I L Stent - 7 Plank Open Wagon
Isidore Livingstone Stent was a coal merchant in Midhurst, Sussex. By 1910 he had taken over Farley & Son, coal factors and merchants, established in 1854. In the 1930s Stent had 3 coal wagons, 4 horses and 9 lorries to deliver the coal. The line from Chichester to Midhurst closed to passengers in 1935 and freight in 1953. Stent also delivered corn, cake, seed and manure. This model has a coal load.
